Irrigation Technician

Job Responsibilities:

  • GP Landscape, a full service landscape company is currently seeking a highly skilled Irrigation Technician.
    • Able to work independently, proactively and safely while meeting the highest quality standards.
    • Inspect, program, adjust and repair irrigation systems (valves, controllers, mainlines and laterals).
    • Maintain safety standards all the time.
    • Complete service requests in a timely manner. Monitor inventory and be responsible for all billing of the work performed.
    • Attend after hour’s emergency calls when needed.
    • Perform additional grounds care tasks when required.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have a thorough understanding of all phases of irrigation systems including: operation, troubleshooting, repair and maintenance. A minimum of three (3) years irrigation experience is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of valve repair, mainlines, laterals, wire tracing, as well as controller operation and back flow troubleshooting and repairs.
  • General knowledge of landscape maintenance.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work with Managers and other co-workers.
  • Excellent communication skill (strong verbal and written).

Crew Leader, Maintenance Department

Job Responsibilities:

GP Landscape, a quality oriented landscape maintenance service provider is seeking a full time experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader. The Crew Leaders’ primary function is to supervise and to work alongside his crew to complete all task assign to each project. This position requires performing a wide variety of duties including, but not limited to the following:
  • Repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling and walking at least two hours at a time.
  • Must be able to operate power equipment such as movers, blowers, weed-eaters, shrub pruners and perform general landscape tasks.
  • Prune shrubs/hedges, using mechanical as well as hand equipment.
  • Maintain a schedule and ensure service expectations are met.
  • Ensure equipment is in good working condition, and report any damage to supervisor.
  • Oversee day to day operations and be able to delegate work to crew.
  • Comply with Company General Conduct and Safety Rules.
  • Help load and unload trucks, or any other vehicles as assigned.
  • Experience in the landscape industry a must.
  • Performs all other tasks not specifically indicated.

Qualifications:

  • Provided current experience in the landscape industry.
  • Valid Driver License, with clean driving record.
